Type: Full-time (3-6 month full time contract position, potentially leading to continuous employment.)
We’re on the hunt for a brand architect—someone who can turn positioning into poetry and strategy into story. As our Brand Strategist & Copywriter, you’ll help B2B tech brands define who they are, what they stand for, and how they speak to the world.
You’ll lead discovery sessions, craft messaging frameworks, and guide creative direction from insight to execution.
What you'll do
This is a client-facing intermediate role that is 25% strategy, 75% copywriting/strategy execution. You will primarily support positioning efforts, but will also be involved in broader conversion-oriented copywriting work.
- Lead brand discovery, positioning workshops, and interviews with clients to better understand client subject matter and goals
- Conduct audience, SEO, market, and competitor research to inform strategy (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Search Console, heat mapping tools, SEM Rush, Hrefs, Google Ads etc.)
- Develop messaging frameworks and voice guidelines that define a brand’s essence
- Translate brand strategy into creative platforms, campaign ideas, marketing narratives, taglines, company names, and value statements across assets
- Write broader conversion-oriented copy for websites, sales decks, video scripts, and campaigns
- Collaborate with creative teams to ensure brand identity and storytelling align
- Present and defend brand and messaging concepts to clients
- Efficiently manage your priorities to ensure project timeline and due dates are met
What you'll bring
- 4+ years in brand strategy, content strategy, or copywriting (agency experience preferred)
- An undergraduate degree in English, Psychology, or Business (or other post secondary level training)
A portfolio showcasing messaging frameworks, positioning research (audience, competitor etc.) and voice development - Experience building complex B2B or tech brand messaging & positioning
- Strong facilitation and client-facing presentation skills
- A strategic mindset that bridges business goals and creative storytelling
- Ability to craft simple, inspiring narratives for complex tech products
- Fluid in using and going in between multiple software applications(e.g. Google Suite, Figma, Mindmeister, Canva, Project management tools, Website CMS’ like: Webflow, Wordpress, Sanity, Conference software: Zoom, Google Meet,Teams)
- Bonus: Experience in AI-assisted workflows and strategic prompting
- Bonus: Experience with design an asset
